Inside a Thai Buddhist Temple

The Ancient city takes about 2hours drive from the middle of Bangkok depending on traffic. This was taken on my March trip this year. I plan on going back this year and would definately go again. You can rent a cart for a few bucks and run around in it all day... You need a whole day here, its huge. There is a restaraunt on top of the water in a lake in a village which is all above water, its beautiful one meal was 20Baht, at the time 28Baht was $1AUD. This has been a thirty year project, most of the statues and temples where brought from all over the country brick by brick. It gives you the history and information there, The people are so friendly and it was so nice to get out out of Bangkok. If you are ever in that area you really should check it out. Enjoy.
