http://www.phuketdining.com http://phuketdreamer.ning.com/ Ahhh..Beautiful Nai Thon Beach Phuket, well here is a video of Nai Thon during the low season; I caught this video just before a storm was moving in. Today I was the only person on this beautiful beach, not really your swimming weather and the surf is a little bit rough, one thing you have to be concerned with when you swim on the western Phuket beaches is the current and especially during monsoon season, the rip currents can be very tricky to get through. I love everything about Phuket beaches and it's sometimes hard to determine which one is my favorite, but I still have to go with Kata Beach as my choice beach, that was the reason why we bought our condo at the Aspasia Phuket back in 2003. I love the water and everything about and have seen many different beaches during my time in the SEAL teams, sometimes I can just sit for hours watching and enjoying the surf, there is just something special that draws me to it. I have several Phuket swim routes all over the island and Nai Thon beach is one of them, I use surface swim fins on all my swims, it a must when you get into those strong currents, but rain or shine I still do my swims.
