RELATE TO CHRISTIAN LIFE Perhaps the application that can be made from the Rube Goldberg approach to the Christian life is that many of our efforts to achieve our goals are at best inefficient and at worst created almost aimless movement that results in noise and confusion. Our aims should be guided and channeled by our individual and community understanding of Gods purpose for our lives as found in the scriptures. The chariot shown in the work is a vehicle frequently mentioned in the scripture as being used by Israels enemies (army of the Pharaoh), Gods people and heaven itself.
