i'm seeing this episode on Travel and Living SE Asia right now... the last quarter of the show is left. it's really depressing :( the first time i saw the guy in crutches, i was really thinking, don't tell me, he's gonna feed the crew... and he did.. :( thats a very touching thing. and bourdain is a class act to acknowledge that he feels bad about eating food from people who have no reason to be nice to him. :( he's at the laos alcohol factory right now. v nice episode. :(

Lao hasn't changed much I think there should be more tourism, business, trade, but not overly the culture should stay the same, not like Thailand who has overly open up their doors to westerners who tend to exploit Asian ppl.

Laos is beautiful, this episode does not do the country any justice, I am Lao and want to visit it one day, the waterfalls, and mountains, and picturesque countryside.

Same here. I'm quite flattered Bourdain visited Laos. It deserves a little bit of exposure, I haven't seen alot of Laos episodes in other shows in Travel Channel.

No, it's not even close 2 vietnamese pho n da noodles aint even close 2 viet pho noodles! It is way softer n moistier noodles den pho noodles! I dont know wat da fuCC he's talkin about cuz vietnamese dont event eat dose kind of noodles!
